This weekend, Delaware hosted the annual Rockwood Ice Cream Festival. The two day event featured 25 restaurants and snack vendors, games and activities for children, over 20 crafters, 15 nonprofit organizations and a beer garden.
The Food Network's cameras along side host Anthony Anderson were at the event filming for an upcoming show. The show Food Fest Nation, will feature various food festivals in Chicago, Florida, Arkansas and Delaware. The series will begin airing on July 21st at 9pm on the Food Network. The show will also air the "best sundae on Sunday" competition. The participants were; HyPoint Dairy, Vanderwende Dairy, UDairy Creamery, Kilby Cream, the Ice Cream Shop, Caffe Gelato, Cajun Sno, Sweet Lucy's and Palateria y Neuvaria Tocumbo.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the festival, because I have not been since I was in high school. But, I had a great time and it was also really nice having the Food Network cameras rolling, so America can learn a little more about Delaware.
