THROWBACK TUESDAY: "WANNA BE LOVED"- BUJU BANTON

Wanna be loved is one of those songs that takes me back to my island girl days (which I miss a lot). It reminds me of my childhood, especially since I was probably around the age of 8 or 9 when this song first came out. The song is basically about finding someone/ being with someone who will love you for you and not for who they want you to be. A "real love, with no strings attached."

I absolutely love this song because of the message it embodies. It's so sad at how often some people have to change themselves to be pleasing to others when you should not change a thing about yourself to make someone love you. If someone cannot accept you for who you are, then they don't deserve you!
