TOUGH LOVE: REUNION SPECIAL


So this week, one of my favorite guilty pleasures came to an end :(.. Tough Love features eight women seeking relationship advice/ tough love from the host and matchmaker, Steve Ward.. Steve along with his mother JoAnn, run Master Matchmakers, a match making agency based in Philadelphia.. 


Avonte- Also known as "Miss Other Woman," because she was in a relationship with a married man for the last nine years.. Toward the end of boot camp Avonte met Eric, whom she seemed to vibe with well.. However, she admitted at the reunion show that they are no longer seeing each other, because they live in different states.. Yet, she admitted she was "dating" an athlete who also lives in a different state.. It seems to me that she's settling back into her old ways.. 


Brigette- Also known as "Miss Desperate," because she desperately wants to find love, get married and start a family.. Within the first or second week of boot camp, she met Anthony and she was instantly in love, calling him babe and what not.. However, during the reunion she admitted that they are no longer together, because he's "nuts." She also has a new boyfriend and she thinks she's in love.. I knew it wasn't gonna work out between her and Anthony, she was extremely desperate to find love at the time.. But, I am proud of her, because she definitely learned something from the show.. 


Chasity- Also known as "Miss Double Standard." Not quite sure why lol.. During boot camp, she met Al and she promised him that she will quit go-go dancing to pursue a relationship with him.. Well, she broke her promise and went back to go-go dancing after filming wrapped.. She got herself some boobs, since she desperately wants to be in Playboy.. And obviously her and Al are no longer together.. I'm guess she didn't learn anything from boot camp.. 


Christine- Also known as "Miss Body Issues," because she recently lost a lot of weight, yet she was still dealing with body issues from when she was overweight.. On the show, she kept hinting that her marriage failed because her husband stopped showing her affection.. However she failed to mention her infidelity.. So during boot camp, she met Frank and even though they seem to hit it off well, Idk if their relationship is really real or if it's just for show.. Either way, Christine is definitely living in a fairy tale.. She is still with Frank and showed up to the reunion with a fake tattoo with Frank's name on her arm.. She also decided to give him her promise ring during the reunion, after she originally dedicated it to her daughter.. I hope things work out between her and Frank.. 


Claudia- Also known as "Miss Drama Queen," because she's a Spanish TV soap opera actress.. She actually left boot camp to deal with a few underlying issues that needed to be addressed before she found love.. On the reunion, she revealed that she was happy and she found love.. Out of all the girls, I am really happy for her.. 


Jane- Also know as "Miss Bossy." This self proclaimed "crazy psycho," is definitely one feisty latina.. On the show, she met a really nice guy who was starting to fall for her.. However, she was hesitating because she was still in love with her ex boyfriend with whom she was still intimate with.. I thought it was weird that on the reunion, she was the only one that they didn't really talk to about her current relationship status.. Wonder if she's back with her ex.. 


Leilani- Also known as "Miss Superficial." While in boot camp, she met George.. Well, she's still with George even though she lives in LA and he's in Miami.. Hope they stick it out, cause they are cute together.. 


Michelle- Also known as "Miss Delusional." Toward the end of boot camp, she met Sam and they hit it off right away she even admitted that she was falling for him.. Well apparently after filming wrapped, she found out that he had a girlfriend the whole time, so Michelle decided to stop seeing him.. I felt really bad for her too, because she did seem really happy when they were together and at the reunion she looked so sad, she even started crying because she was really heart broken by the whole thing.. So, Sam was also at the reunion, because he's no longer involved and he really wants to work things out with Michelle.. I hope things work out between them..
