Okay so yesterday, I was driving to meet up a friend for dinner to celebrate my birthday.. I was having a mini party in the car, because the radio was turned all the way up while the dj was playing some nice mixes..  So, one of the songs that he ended up including in his mix was Rihanna's "Birthday cake." I never heard the song before but once I heard it I just started dancing in my seat (literally).. But, anyway if you have never heard this track before, I advise you to listen to it..

Well as some of you may know, today is my 24th birthday!!! I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do yet.. I have an eye appointment, but still no plans after that.. Mary J. Blige is one of my favorite R&B singers.. I love the fact that she tells a story with her music.. Not only that, but I love when I can relate to certain things in songs.. Or look to songs to help me cope with whatever it is that may be going on in my life..  Just Fine is a fun track.. It definitely puts you in one of those enjoy life/ live life to the fullest moods.. No matter the track, Mary never fails to deliver whatever emotion she wants her listeners to feel and that's one of the main things I like about her and her music..

Katy Perry and Russell Brand announced that they are getting a divorce.. I really never thought that this day would come.. I wasn't wishing bad on their relationship or anything like that, because I thought they were great together and seemed so in love, but I guess nothing lasts forever..
