Easter Blessing


I always stress how short life is and how grateful/ thankful you should be, because when you think you have it bad there is always someone out there that has it worse than you. 

I just wanted to share this story with you guys. Easter Sunday, my family and I woke up to a banging on the door, it was the neighbor from the apartment below. He seemed frantic and a bit confused. And he was seeking assistance. Since I moved into my own place, I usually do not sleep over at my parents place, but we had a family get together the night before for my dad's birthday, so I spent the night. 

My dad went to assist the neighbor. And the next thing I know my dad was yelling at us to get out of the apartment. We didn't really know what was going on, but we could smell smoke. Well, it turned out that a fire had broken out in the apartment below. Long story short, this was by far the scariest thing my family and I have been through. Thank God we were all able to get out of the apartment unharmed. 

You never know where life will take you, but be thankful to God for everything! And show your family that you love and appreciate them.
